I wrote this piece back in my high school days. It contains numerous different themes connected by a short recurring theme, which is why I call it a Rondo. I added the "Overture" to the title when I decided to develop some of the themes in the piece into separate stand-along pieces. You might recognize parts of the Rondo in both Waltz of Joy and Pensive Stroll by a Playground.
This three part suite is meant to reflect in music the feelings engendered by artwork of various styles. I wrote and frequently performed this piece in high school, many years ago.
This is an original melody setting verses 7 and 9 from Psalm 92 to music, with synthesized singing voices. The video, which contains the translation, may be viewed below.
This is an original melody, setting verse 12 of Psalm 40, together with other passages from the Jewish prayer service, to music using synthesized voices. The text is sung in the original Hebrew. The video may be viewed below.
